Blondie the ever-cautious feral cat

I’ll give you an idea of how cautious Blondie the feral cat is. Whenever I switch to a new brand of cat food, Blondie will refuse to eat it the first day. No matter how hungry she might be, she won’t touch it. . She’ll look at it, sniff it, and back away. And she’ll give me this look, like: “I don’t KNOW about this. It could be a trick.”</p> <p>So she’ll back off and watch the other cats eating. Like she’s thinking: “My royal food tasters.     • Yeah. You can really see how those feral cats are wired for survival. The slightest threatening or alien sound or gesture and its like alarm bells start ringing loudly in their feral cat brains.
