I’ve got it perfectly timed this evening.  Just by the time when I start getting really drunk from the Olde English, that’s right when the battery to my cellphone will be wearing down.  Preventing me from posting any drunken, embarrassing comments on the internet that I will sorely regret tomorrow . .

See, when you’re an alcoholic you have to plan ahead and think these things out.  What can I say.  I’m a savvy guy. . .

Unless I’m already too drunk and don’t realize it.  And this is another one of those embarrassing internet posts I’ll find out about tomorrow . . . Hmmm . . .

Ah fuck it.  I’ll worry about it tomorrow.

  1. Another one of your recent posts was about how you feel you’ve lost your creative mojo. Ever think it might have something to do with the internet? In the old days, we had to see a project like a band, fanzine or what have you, through in the real world and couldn’t get that quick, easy buzz of acknowledgement provided by social media.

    • Yeah. Personally the internet has fucked me up. I figured I’d spend my “sunset years” writing a series of books. But the internet has pretty much devestated the print medium. “Writing a series of blogs” doesn’t quite have the same cache.

  2. Remember when Olde English came out with the 64 oz-er?? With the heavy duty glass thumb-ring? Damn! That was a serious man’s bottle! A half gallon of malt liquor!! It sucked ass trying to haul them in for the deposit money (you’d get like, 8 of them in your trunk). But, no matter how hard core a drinker a guy was, that 64 would knock his dink in the dirt!

    • Wow. No, I’ve never seen the 64 ounce OE. Probably a good thing. Ha ha. The 40 ouncer is about the perfect size for me. After I pound one of those on one sitting, its good to get up and stretch my legs and get some exercise. . As in, walkung to the liquor store to get my next 40. Ha ha. . .
