Walkin’ along, singin’ a song

Every now and then I’ll be walking down the street when, for no apparent reason, I’ll suddenly get this feeling: “Man, it’s great to be alive!!” . . . . . . But not very often.

  1. Great blog. The human brain is so interesting. And I wish I had that feeling a lot. Sounds like manic depression. You have written a lot of great things. There is a group of us reading your book about surviving on the streets in a very excited fashion.

  2. Psychologists call it “self actualized” to be able to feel like that all the time. Mostly I experience a sense of dread, like the other shoe is about to fall…
