People I have been

You’d never guess it from looking at me today (ha ha) but I actually had a very happy and well-adjusted childhood.  My childhood was sort of a cross between Leave it to Beaver and The Little Rascals.  And I felt like King of the World all the way up through 6th grade.  And then it all started going to downhill for me.  What can I say? I peaked early at age 11.

I don’t know if you go through this, too.  But I always go through this weird trip when I look back on my past, and my past selves.  It always seems like I’m watching a movie that happened to somebody else.  Even though, technically, I know the guy in the pictures is me.  In truth, I can barely remember who that person was. . . They say that every seven years we replace most of the cells that make up our bodies, and every year we completely replace all the atoms.  So maybe I was a completely different person back then.

    • My Dad mailed them to my sis who mailed them to me. . . The actual photos are much clearer (I took a photo of the photos with my cellphone so I could post of them).
