The street scene can get a little wingy-dingy at times

My backpack was falling apart. So this friend of mine, who had an extra backpack, offered to give it to me. Along with a bunch of cans of cat food for my goddamn feral cats.

So she brings the stuff up to the Park. But, unfortunately, when her back was turned this street nut who hangs out in the Park all day long, walked off with it. He’s one of those wingnuts who walks around barefoot and talking to themselves, with a blanket draped over their shoulders. You might know the type.

The next day when she confronted him about it he admitted that he had “borrowed” the backpack and gave it back to her.

“What happened to all the cat food that was in the pack?” she asked.

“I ate it,” he said.

  1. sounds normal sir (snafu) i spent hours reading your wordpress site today. really is like a time trip for me to see photos of people i knew, really appreciate your work. hope all is ok. i got a question, i was wondering is Christine still in Btown and or is she on facebook? she treated us real nice i remember, could have been one of those types that call cops on you all the time. she did backdrops for deadshows too! I laugh and am sad when i read your stuff. Its deep sometimes and sometimes funny crackup stuff. Anyway say hi to Danny for me and Asshole John and Hoodie Dave for me. you know my email address.

    1. Saw Hoodie Dave the other day. He’s doing good (will pass on your message). Haven’t seen Asshole John in a couple years. I think he moved back to Texas.
