I mean. You’re born. And most of us didn’t ASK to be born. But suddenly you’re born. And you’re thrust out into this world of harsh, sharp objects and pain.
And you’re not even given an instructional manual (“That was a birth certificate they gave you, not a written guarantee.”).
So you just start winging it. You’re drawn to the pleasures (masturbation, cheeseburgers, nice sunsets, drugs, rocknroll and sports).
And you try to avoid the pains (people punching you in the head, diseases, boring TV sit-coms).
So you stumble onwards. Trying to Make A Life For Yourself.
While knowing all along that Death is looming. And within a few short years you are gonna be facing Oblivion.
But that’s the game.
At least you HOPE it’s just a game.
Or is it serious?

If a person doesnt mind being continuously acting & reacting in endless karmic feedback loops, born again & again to fumble through samsara for an eternity, then life is a game. Buddha felt a little different, & i tend to agree, life is serious.
