On this day last year: A big anti-Trump rally in Provo Park. And your man Ace Backwords was there on the scene, down for the cause, fighting for what’s right, and trying to pick up hot activist chicks.
This young lady was very impressed when I told her all about my heroic past exploits manning the barricades in Chicago in ’68, stopping that damn war in Vietnam, and fighting the pigs all the way from DC to Albuquerque.
After setting several trashcans on fire together, and hurling some newspaper racks through the window of a donut shop, we went out for coffee together and ended up having a very lovely time. If you know what I mean.
Ace Backwords is a former cartoonist, writer and semi-normal human being. He's been sleeping in the bushes in the Berkeley hills for the last ten years with his four feral cats, Moo Cat, Fatty, Mini Scaredy and Micro Scaredy. Future plans include growing old and dying. Preferably in that order.
