It was that kind of winter

It’s been a rough winter for me. And by the end of the winter you can feel pretty beat up from the cumulative affect of all the months sleeping in the cold and rain. . . Last night I was so exhausted. I headed up to my campsite around 2 in the morning. And I’m trudging up the trail. And I got about 100 yards from my campsite. But I was so exhausted. I thought “Well I’ll just lay down here for a second on the ground and rest for a moment.”

I woke up two hours later. With that weird feeling. “Where am I??” Before I realized I was about 100 yards from my campsite.

I finally made it up to my campsite
My feral cats were waiting for me, wondering what the hell I had been doing laying down there in the dirt 100 yards from my campsite for two hours.

It was THAT kind of winter.
